A Personal Touch

I hail from the beautiful Black Forest, a region that continues to inspire me with its natural beauty and traditions. I’m an avid fan of Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte (Black Forest Gateau) and love introducing others to this iconic dessert.

My favourite German words? Honigkuchenpferd—a delightful term for someone grinning ear to ear, much like how I feel when I see my students succeed. And then there’s Kopfkino—the perfect word for those vivid, imaginative daydreams that play in your mind. Both words capture the joy and creativity that language brings to life!
